Well Doesn't That Blow All

Caltech Girl says Petsmart is axing Iams and Eukanuba.

Terrific. I'm still waiting for the first Las Cruces store to open up, and now they're not even gonna carry the only stuff that doesn't turn my longhair cat into a puke factory.

As for Science Diet, I haven't met the animal yet that will eat it willingly. I know, it's like I just issued an invitation for six people to leave me comments about how much their beloved pets adore Science Diet. Well, bite me. My cats won't touch the stuff, and it costs a fortune besides.

Guess it's off to Wal-mart. Last I checked, they carry Iams.

Petsmart, you stupid pricks.

My beloved pets adore Science Diet.

At least, they'd better. That's what I's buyin' so that's what they's eatin'.

My cats eat SD, too. Wal-Mart carries Iams. Most feed and seed stores do, as well.

Well, that's two, and quicker than I expected. When it rains it pours.

My cats threw up Science Diet. We ditched that, real fast.

Iams Weight Control. And yet, Tig loses no weight. Perhaps they need to change the formula.

Or perhaps I need to feed him less.

Nah. They need to change the formula.

Awww, no points for my helpful hint? FWIW, my cats throw up occasionally no matter what we feed them.

I use a product called Lax-'aire, which you can put on your finger and they can lick it off. But throwing up is good. It's getting the hair out of their intestines, etc. As long as they're not throwing up only liquid. If they do that for a week or so, take them to the vet. They might be in kidney failure. Sadly, no one had ever told me that and by the time I was, my cat was beyond help. I have guilt to this day, but I'd only had hamsters up to that point. :( Maybe I'll do a post on that. Hmm.... thanks!

Because, you know, hubby works for their competition, I laugh.

But the silly thing is: there is SO MUCH variety of cat and dog food, you wouldn't beleive! I ain't never SEEN so many types. And DICK VAN PATTEN MAKES DOG FOOD! The dad on Eight Is Enough! Cracks my shit up!

Yeah. I'm easily amused. Whatevs.

Ours eat whatever is on sale and/or couponed. Hell, that's what the rest of the family is eating so it brings us all to a common level.
