Dead Kid Quota

Did you know there is one? It's true! Can't have an opinion 'bout the war unless you've met your dead kid quota.

It's like Chris Rock's bit about white girls:

Got to get a white girl. You're not a successful black man without a white girl. They won't even let you buy a mansion without a white girl.

BLACK MAN: Here's your million dollars.
REAL ESTATE AGENT: Where's your white girl? We have zoning restrictions.

The antiwar have zoning restrictions, too--only theirs are not (intentional) comedy. Reasoned Audacity takes a peek into the quota-ruled world of Salon's Robert Crook:

it becomes clear that what's really bothering Robert is that some of those "morons" Americans who support both the President and the war have had a front row seat for the "mess in Iraq," and have come away with a pretty different account. Robert is not too happy that many (most?) in the American military do support the war, specifically, military mom, Tammy Pruett:

"Of course, Tammy Pruett isn't really the Anti-Cindy because none of her immediate family members have been killed in Iraq."

Don't kid yourself that Crook quits there, either--read the whole thing.

Where's your dead kid? We have zoning restrictions.

No, I'm NOT surprised that most in the U.S. military support our unelected "president" and his bogus war in Iraq, and I never wrote that I was. You pulled that out of your ass. Anyone stupid enough to join the U.S. military now -- when the U.S. military no longer provides defense, like it is supposed to, but instead provides war profits for war-profiteering corporations like Dick Cheney's Halliburton -- would be stupid enough to support war criminal and traitor George W. Bush, who should be executed for his treason and for his war crimes, and his regime's bogus war in Iraq. Where are those WMDs, guys? Why aren't you outraged that almost 2,000 U.S. troops have died for a LIE?!?! Yeah, you support our troops. RIGHT...

And the "quota" thing -- I have NO idea what you're talking about, and neither do you, apparently.

No, I pulled it out of the post that I linked by Charmaine Yoest. You know, the one that's BLOCKQUOTED? Take it up with her if you don't like it.

Right; I guess I missed the news piece reporting on the closure of all our military bases.

but instead provides war profits for war-profiteering corporations like Dick Cheney's Halliburton

And that's all it does, isn't it, Robert? It doesn't do anything else.

Be a man, Robert. Be a fucking man for just one teeny tiny minute, and go tell this guy that's all he did in the military.

Come on, big boy. Be a man just this once and say that shit to someone who's actually been there, instead of carping at my dumb ass.

would be stupid enough to support war criminal and traitor George W. Bush, who should be executed for his treason and for his war crimes

I'd give my left arm to have the Secret Service read that.

Where are those WMDs, guys? Why aren't you outraged that almost 2,000 U.S. troops have died for a LIE?!?!

As previously stated, I don't really care about the WMDs. Never did.

Yeah, you support our troops. RIGHT...

Better than you do, asshole. Better than you do. Now go fetch yourself some reading comprehension so that next time, you can tell who it is you should actually be arguing with, and/or construct yourself an argument that doesn't rely on HALLIBURTON and SELECTED NOT ELECTED and LIES!!!

Shit, is this all it takes to write for Salon blogs? This is fucking sad, is what it is.

So a wingnut blogger takes me out of context, and then you, another wingnut blogger, further misquote me by quoting her. NICE! But that's how wingnuts operate: Defending their indefensible positions comes WAAAAAAAAAY before acknowledging truth.

For the record, assbite, I have no problem telling someone who is in Iraq what I think of George W. Bush and Gulf War II. Here's proof:

http://blogs.salon.com/0001517/2005/08/27.html#a614

Your Secret Service comment only shows what a fascist swine you are. You know that thing called the First Amendment you wingnuts like to insanely claim that we're fighting for in Iraq? That amendment, which you'd suspend during Repugnican perpetual "wartime" if you could, allows me to say that the punishment for treason is execution and that no one -- not even your precious Gee Dubya -- is above the law. Unlike Pat Robertson, whom you also probably worship, I wasn't calling for assassination. I was calling for JUSTICE.

That you don't care about the rationale that your nation uses to invade another nation, killing thousands of innocent people -- and almost 2,000 U.S. troops you pretend to give a shit about -- also reveals plenty about your lack of character, morality and intelligence.

And, for the record, I'm more man than you'll NEVER be, and I'M a big ol' fag.

Ilyka, you're a wingnut now? Because you don't call for the execution of President Bush? Man, that's a new one.

These moonbats just keep parodying themselves. I had to reread that post three or four times before I realized that this Robert character might actually be serious in those beliefs.

Apparently, Robert dropped the chickenhawk line over at Reasoned Audacity. That and his complete inability to read your past posts defending the Iraq war... or ANYONE'S defense of the Iraq war, I think makes him persona non grata... at least in my book.

Robert's not a big old fag, he's a little old pussy.
