Sky lookin' all pretty and stuff. Damn. Wish I were retired.

Sunrise, I assume. I used to be in the same boat. Arrive at work in the frickin' dark, go home the same way. Even in summer. It's good to be retired, even allowing for the fact it's life's end-game.
Posted by: Buck at February 2, 2006 11:55 AMIt is actually an early sunset on a cloudy day; I work starting about the time most people get home from their work, and then I'm on 'til about midnight.
One of these days when I get a chance to do something irresponsible like stay up until the dawn, though, I want to get a nice shot of the Organ Mountains come sunrise. That would be killer.

I know I'm just being all grass-is-greener about it, but seems to me the end-game's the best part. Time to think a few things over without someone tapping you on the shoulder: "Hey, buddy, get your head outta the clouds and back to work." Bleah.
