And This is How Punk We Keep it Around Here

So punk that five minutes after posting that last one, the DSL went out because it turns out service providers like to be paid, in full and on time, and I'd done neither for, uh, a while. That's right: I was too busy keeping it real for you.

Expect blogging to be light, etc. Dialup sucks.

I have my ISP on direct debit, and I work for my phone company... Just to avoid this sort of thing.

Now I only have to worry about the power bills.

I let my personal finance manager handle all of my bills. She works cheap so it works pretty well.

Heh heh, I have the emergency still-free sucky AOL dialup on the old, slow computer for such contingencies.

Dialup makes the baby Jesus weep. Come back soon, please.

Since I recently upgraded from dialup to cable modem (goodbye AOl, hello whole new world!) I totally empathize with the dialup problem. And the bill paying problem. I often forget our bills, at least that's what I tell them when they call...

I do dialup from one location and cable from the other. People wonder why I sit here next to the rock on this computer all day instead of next to the one in the shelter under the tree, near where I usually lay down for the night.

Bird Brain hooked my TRS 200 into the ethernet with a wire coathanger after Miss Kitty shredded the coax cable with her claws.

Dialup-that ho that was my companion for a verrrrrrrry long time. AKA-the reason that Helen went mental (well, one of a few, anyway).

Makes you hate graphic intensive sites, doesn't it?
