Tancredo

I haven't opened my virtual mouth on this one because the one time I even thought about doing it, I just squandered the opportunity and instead used it to call Hugh Hewitt a meathead. I am full of style and grace--or rather, I should never be let out in public; no, not even via the internet.

Baldilocks, however, has been all over it--now even with a little something cheering.

So that's where you oughtta be if you haven't been following reactions there already. And remember: It isn't nice to call people meatheads without seeing the CT scans first.

What's wrong with calling Hugh Hewitt a meathead? I should certainly hope his head is made of meat -- instead of strontium or vinyl chloride or whatever it was the aliens' heads in The X-Files were made of that let them keep all that antifreeze from squirting out. 8|

Maybe I would have watched more All in the Family if they'd filled Mike Stivic's head with antifreeze. You know Archie probably had cases of it in the trunk anyhow.

I just can't believe I watched that show in the first place, never mind every night that it came on for years and years. It was on the other night, on TVLand or something. Man, that Gloria was a tinny, screech-mouthed bitch.

Strangely enough, the character of JJ from Good Times has weathered the decades much better.

I was subjected to it by an aunt and a grandmother. My grandmother loves Edith and, come to think of it, Edith's about the only one I can stand anymore. But the rest of them--Edith was by no means the biggest dingbat of the bunch.

And don't tempt me to sing the Good Times theme song. I know all the words.

Oh hell:

Temporary layoffs!
(Good times)
Easy credit rip-offs!
(Good times)
Ain't we lucky we got 'em--
Good times!

I think I kind of miss J.J.

I can sing the song from the Jeffersons! Yes, I'm quite proud of it too.

I watched more Jeffersons than Good Times. The Jeffersons had Florence!
