We're Not the Problem, We're Pacifists

Right, right.

Here's a simple test to help you determine whether an action is really "hateful" or not: Check the direction from which it came.

Did it come from the right?--That's 100% certified genuine hate you got there, baby.

Did it come from the left?--Go home and administer extra beatings to yourself, you fascist, racist, neoconservative JERK.

Do you suppose this will be prosecuted as a hate crime?

Check the direction.

I don't see a political angle here--how are the perps here associated with the left?

Posted by: Hubris at August 25, 2005 04:49 PM

Well, I'm no rocket scientist, but virtually all of the, "anti-war," protestors and rhetoric I see--and hear--are from the left. It certainly doesn't seem to me to be much of a stretch to conclude that Ilyka's point is a valid one!

JannyMae,

This wasn't an anti-war protest, the beating happened outside a club. It didn't have anything to do with the victims being soldiers.

If that's the case, Hubris, then fine ,I concede your point in this case. I don't know that to be true, however.

Regardless, it does not nullify Ilyka's point about the double standard on, "Hate crimes," that she is referring to.

What the hell is wrong with you people? It is simple.

If you are white and on the winning end - it is hate.

If you are black, hispanic, queer, muslim, liberal, and you are on the losing side it is hate - seething hate.

If you are white and killed/maimed or hurt by any of the above listed protected species, it barely meets the level of a crime - let alone a hate crime. The pschyo-babblists will quickly take over and before long - presto! You had it coming!

If you need any more encouragement to seek out firearms training and apply for a CCW - you don't deserve to live.

Whoa, George--leave the color out of it, man. Not cool here. Not cool at all.

'Specially seeing as how you got here via a Filipina-American.

Posted by: ilyka at August 26, 2005 10:48 PM

Malkin is a Filipina-American but you would guess that when you read her views. I read her views for many months and thought that she was a racist white woman. I was very surprised to see that she is Asian and I had to double check.

Color has nothing to do with it. Wake up. It is about hypocrisy and double standards.

Whether or not something is "cool" or not cool is a decicidely childish way of looking at things.

Perhaps you could refer to yourself as an American? There is an old Romanian saying... You can't have your ass in two boats at the same time.

I'm curious as to whether the soldiers were in uniform, anyone know?
This whole affair shows the fallacy of hate crime legislation. The perps were black, the victims were black. So, according to the hate crime crowd these thugs didn't act out of hate. Odd way to show the love.

Nothing wil freeze a site quicker than the truth - will it...

Wow george, never heard that "argument" before.

Here's an alternate explanation: Some "points" are so stupid that they're not worth engaging.

Just a thought.

Gosh, Hubris - I guess I am stunned by your post. So much for me'

What a stud! With a minimun of words, he slays his detractors.

Right, asshole. When monkeys fly out of my ass. In the meant time - stand by.

Posted by: GEORGE at August 28, 2005 12:47 AM

Dude, you understand that the victims in this case were black, right?

Go find a clue. You might've lost it at the firing range, man. I suggest you start your hunt there.

"I read her views for many months and thought that she was a racist white woman."

You must have missed the large picture of her on her weblog on the left. It's funny though because I've yet to see Malkin be racist.
