Talk Me Out of This

Lately I have been thinking I would like a kitten.

The problem with kittens is, they grow up to be cats. Crabby old sassy-mouthed cats. I ought to know. I have had my share of cats.

Still, things like this do not help me resist the call of the dark side.

Hey, why not have the best of both worlds: I've got a puppy who thinks she's a cat. I'd be happy to send her to you. In one piece, even. Damn thing's driving me -- and my cat -- nuts!

Aw, little kitties are so cute and so fun. Plus even when they grow up, they make great lapwarmers.

Now, if you were considering getting a puppy I would try to talk you out of that. Living with a dog is a pain.

I highly recommend an adult cat. Kittens, while cute, are actually quite annoying. Their cutness is their defense, so that you don't kill them when they keep being completely annoying. I've started calling mine "Hat" because that's what I'm going to turn her into if she doesn't SHUT UP. Older cats mellow out, and you know what their personality is like already, so you can get one that will be your bud. For extreme torture, check out www.petfinder.com.

Two! That's the answer! Get TWO kittens. Right away. This will solve your dilemma. There needs to be two (2) of them, in your apartment, right now. If you have two kittens you will not worry about this issue so. You will have happy good fun and enjoy your Nice Chinese Food with chopsticks. So they can become involved in your doings, two kittens is a pair of things meant to be had by you!

Dood. That lil' kitty was soo kayoot! But you just know that immediately after that picture was taken it ran down the hallway, shredded the roll of toilet paper and then shat in the ficus.
